    Co-Founder & Chief Scientist, Arbitrum / Offchain Labs
    Ed Felten is Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Offchain Labs. He is on leave from Princeton University, where he is the Robert E. Kahn Professor of Computer Science and Public Affairs. From 2015 to 2017 he served at the White House as Deputy United States Chief Technology Officer and senior advisor to the President. He is an ACM Fellow and member of the National Academy of Engineering. Outside of work, he is an avid runner, cook, and L.A. Dodgers fan.

    Lauren joined Pantera in 2018 to focus on the firm’s Venture and Early-Stage Token funds. Lauren has an extensive technical background, having received a degree in Computer Science and starting off her career as a software developer. Her previous experience includes working on a trading platform, working in trading at Bank of America, and venture capital.

    Joe is the cofounder and CTO of Alchemy. A serial entrepreneur, he cofounded the #1 social app in the world and has been featured in international media including a New York Times Business cover story, Forbes, Business Insider, and TechCrunch. He has been honored as Forbes 30 under 30, formerly did engineering at Pinterest, Google, and Linkedin. Joe graduated with both an undergraduate and master’s degree in computer science from Stanford University.

    Michael Wu is CEO and Co-founder of Amber Group. Previously, Michael was an FX trader at Morgan Stanley in Asia. He pivoted to crypto in 2017 when he founded Amber Group alongside five other finance professionals from Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Bloomberg. Amber Group’s vision is to serve the growing crypto market of institutions and individuals. Today, the company is a market leader providing 24/7 global coverage for crypto finance solutions, including liquidity provision and asset management services.

    As Parity’s CCO, Björn drives the development of commercialization, partnership, and product. Björn has expertise in industrial automation and digitization and holds a MSc. in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University. He has also studied at University of California Santa Barbara and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
  • Eli Ben-Sasson

    Eli is a co-founder and president of StarkWare, and Chairman of its Board of Directors.

    He has been researching cryptographic and zero knowledge proofs of computational integrity ever since he received his Phd in Theoretical Computer Science from the Hebrew University in 2001. Eli is a co-inventor of the STARK, FRI and Zerocash protocols and a Founding Scientist of the Zcash Company. Over the years he held research positions at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, Harvard and MIT, and, most recently, was a Professor of CS at Technion, which he left to co-found StarkWare.
  • Ed Moncada
    Co-founder, Blockfolio
    Ed Moncada is co-founder and CEO of Blockfolio, the world’s #1 mobile crypto portfolio tracker. Crypto exchange FTX acquired mobile-first Blockfolio for $150 million in 2020 in one of the largest confirmed acquisitions in the blockchain industry. Ed is passionate about delivering exemplary retail experiences to help drive cryptocurrency adoption mainstream, which has contributed to the sleek interface of the Blockfolio app. In addition, Ed previously served as a founding board member of the Dash Foundation (2014 – 2018) where he helped conceptualize Dash’s governance and funding platform known as “Decentralized Governance by Blockchain”.
  • Andrew Chen
    Portfolio Manager, Lockheed Martin Investment Management
    Andrew Chen is a Portfolio Manager in the Absolute Return Strategies group within LMIMCo. In this role he focuses on the Long Short Equity portfolio, though he also sources and conducts investment due diligence across all Hedge Fund strategies. Prior to LMIMCo, Andrew was a Director at Gottex Fund Management, a Fund of Hedge Funds, with responsibility over the Structured Credit, Fixed Income Relative Value, and Event Driven Strategies. Before Gottex, he was an Associate at Attalus Capital, which he joined after starting his career on the Convertible Arbitrage desk at BNP CooperNeff Advisors.

    Andrew has a BSE in Bioengineering and a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, in addition to an MBA from INSEAD.
  • Greg Tusar
    VP of Institutional Products, Coinbase
    Greg Tusar serves as VP, Institutional Product for Coinbase, leading the development of the firm’s efforts in areas such as Prime Brokerage and Custody, Financing, and its Exchange. Greg joined from Tagomi Systems, where he was co-founder and CTO. Coinbase acquired Tagomi in August, 2020 to expand its Institutional offerings.

    Prior to founding Tagomi in 2017, Greg was Head of Global Execution Services and Platforms at KCG Holdings, responsible for its Retail Market Making and Institutional efforts. Mr. Tusar joined KCG in August 2013 from Goldman Sachs, where he spent 13 years, most recently as a Partner and global head of the firm’s equities electronic trading business. Mr. Tusar helped Goldman Sachs expand its electronic trading franchise working closely with Institutions to help improve their execution costs, and also helping the firm invest in and shape industry infrastructure including several exchanges and technology providers.

    Greg was previously a limited partner at Spear, Leeds and Kellogg (“SLK”), when Goldman Sachs acquired the firm in 2000. He also worked for seven years at TLW Securities, most recently as its Chief Executive Officer, before it was acquired by SLK in 1999. He began his career at Mentor Graphics, an electronic design automation firm.

    Greg is a Managing Trustee of the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City NJ, and a Trustee and Treasurer of the Raptor Trust in Stirling, NJ.
  • Tom Jessop
    President, Fidelity Digital Assets
    Tom Jessop is President of Fidelity Digital Assets, where he is responsible for daily business operations while directing the company’s long-term vision to create a full-service institutional brokerage capability for native digital assets like Bitcoin and tokenized securities.

    Tom joined Fidelity in January 2018 as Head of Corporate Business Development. In this role, he led a team focused on identifying and executing strategic opportunities including acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments and partnerships.

    Tom joined Fidelity from Chain, a leading provider of enterprise blockchain solutions to global financial institutions. In his role as president, Tom was responsible for all facets of Chain’s commercial strategy including sales, marketing, and strategic business development.

    Prior to joining Chain, Tom was global head of Technology Business Development at Goldman Sachs where he led efforts to invest in and partner with early stage technology companies across several enterprise domains including blockchain, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

    Tom was also a founding member of and senior leader in Goldman’s Principal Strategic Investments group (PSI). In this role he managed a global team focused on investments in exchanges, e-trading platforms, post-trade networks, and other fintech solutions across the fixed-income, currency, commodity, and equity markets. From 2008 to 2012 he built and led PSI’s Asia-Pacific efforts out of Hong Kong. In 2015 he was named to Institutional Investor’s inaugural “Fintech Finance 35” list.

    Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Tom held a variety of business and product leadership roles at Standard & Poor’s. Tom holds an MBA from New York University and a BA in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross. He is a member of the Holy Cross Leadership Council of New York and serves as an advisor to the Digital Dollar Project. He is also a CFA charterholder.
  • Chris Solarz
    Cliffwater LLC
    Chris is a Managing Director of Cliffwater LLC in our New York office and a member of our hedge fund research team. Prior to joining Cliffwater in 2011, Chris was a Senior Analyst at SAIL Advisors, where he focused on manager selection and due diligence as Head of Research for tactical trading and relative value strategies. Previous experience includes working for ING Investment Management, Antarctica Asset Management, Societe Generale Barr Devlin, and CIBC World Markets. Chris earned a BA in Economics and Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and a MComm in Finance from the University of New South Wales, where he was a Federation Scholar.
  • Marcos Veremis
    Evanston Capital Management
    Marcos Veremis is an investment partner at Evanston Capital Management, where focuses on Investment Research & Portfolio Management. Prior to ECM, he spent over 13 years with Cambridge Associates, primarily in Alternative Investments, including research and implementation of uncorrelated liquid and illiquid strategies. More recently, he led Cambridge’s research into the emerging space of blockchain technology and crypto assets. Marcos holds degrees from the University of Oxford and Columbia University.
  • Karen Ubell
    Partner, Goodwin
    Karen Ubell is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology group and Digital Currency and Blockchain Technology practice. She practices general corporate and securities law, focusing primarily on transactions and regulatory compliance in connection with the implementation and adoption of novel technologies, including but not limited to blockchain, distributed networks, cryptocurrencies and digital assets. Ms. Ubell represents investors and issuers in digital asset offerings, private financings and securities offerings, and advises startups and existing companies in the implementation and development of blockchain technologies and tokenization models. Ms. Ubell also advises blockchain projects, digital asset trading platforms and blockchain industry groups on regulatory compliance as well as direct interactions with regulators, offering unique perspective and insight gained from her experience in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • Brian Brooks
    Previously Acting Comptroller of the Currency
    Brian P. Brooks served as Acting Comptroller of the Currency from May 29, 2020 to January 14, 2021 As Acting Comptroller of the Currency, Mr. Brooks was the administrator of the federal banking system and chief officer of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Prior to joining the OCC, he also served on the Boards of Directors of Avant, Inc. and Fannie Mae, and also served as an advisor to a number of technology startups. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in government and a law degree from the University of Chicago.
  • Cuy Sheffield
    Head of Crypto, Visa
    Cuy Sheffield is the Head of Crypto at Visa, where he leads the global crypto product team within the fintech product organization. Cuy is a fellow at the Visa Economic Empowerment Institute, a co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Cryptocurrencies and a member of the advisory group for the Digital Dollar Project. Before Visa, Cuy worked on business development and partnerships for TrialPay, a fintech startup that was acquired by Visa in 2015.
  • Steven Goldfeder
    CEO, Arbitrum
    Steven Goldfeder is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Offchain Labs. He holds a PhD from Princeton University, where he worked at the intersection of cryptography and cryptocurrencies. He is a co-author of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies, the leading textbook on cryptocurrencies.
  • Do Kwon
    CEO, Terra
    Kwon cofounded Terra to use blockchain technology to develop a more efficient payment system. Its eponymous price-stable cryptocurrency, or stablecoin, attracted 40 million users to work with the company at launch in January 2018. With the aim of building a blockchain-based payment system, Terra has raised $32 million from crypto-giants such as Binance, Arrington XRP and Polychain Capital, as well as assembling an alliance of commerce partners including Korean ticketing giant Ticketmonster and travel service Yanolja.
  • Hester Peirce
    SEC Commissioner
    Hester M. Peirce was appointed by President Donald J. Trump to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and was sworn in on January 11, 2018.

    Prior to joining the SEC, Commissioner Peirce conducted research on the regulation of financial markets at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. She was a Senior Counsel on the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, where she advised Ranking Member Richard Shelby and other members of the Committee on securities issues. Commissioner Peirce served as counsel to SEC Commissioner Paul S. Atkins. She also worked as a Staff Attorney in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management. Commissioner Peirce was an associate at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering (now WilmerHale) and clerked for Judge Roger Andewelt on the Court of Federal Claims.

    Commissioner Peirce earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Case Western Reserve University and her JD from Yale Law School.
  • Adam White
    President, Bakkt
    Adam White is President of Bakkt, a regulated, global ecosystem for digital assets. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction, P&L, and day-to-day operations for the Company. White joined Bakkt in November 2018 as a founding executive. He previously served as Vice President & General Manager of Coinbase. He joined Coinbase in 2013 as the fifth employee, originally leading business development and strategy and later their exchange and institutional products. Prior to Coinbase, White tested experimental aircraft as a Captain in the United States Air Force and is a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. He has testified before Congress as an expert in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. White received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
  • Will Warren
    Co-Founder/CEO, 0x
    Will Warren is Co-founder and CEO at 0x where he is developing public infrastructure for peer-to-peer exchange on the Ethereum blockchain. After receiving a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, Will worked as a graduate research assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory conducting applied physics research. Will spent two years in UCSan Diego’s Structural Engineering doctoral program before dropping out to pursue an interest in Ethereum full time.
  • Daniel Vogel
    Co-Founder/CEO, BitSo
    Daniel is the Co-founder of BitSo.Previously he built Quantcast’s Real Time Bidding system, which became the company’s main revenue-generating product-line.Daniel holds two degrees from Stanford (BA in Economics, BS in Computer Systems Engineering) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Co-Founder, Acala Network
    Ruitao Su is the co-founder of Acala. He is also co-founder and CEO of Laminar – a leading synthetic asset and margin trading platform. Ruitao has led design & development of state-of-art token economic models including the decentralized Sovereign Wealth Fund (dSWF), led multiple successful token generation events, as well as founded several technology startups.
  • Tyler Spalding
    Co-Founder, Flexa
    Tyler Spalding is Co-Founder of Flexa, a blockchain payments company based in New York City. He has been preaching/mining/coding cryptocurrencies since 2011. Tyler was also the Chief Technology Officer at Raise, the world’s largest gift card marketplace with over $1B in sales and $150M in venture funding. WIth over 20 years of experience in building technology, he has founded and sold three software companies, and is an active seed-stage investor in 25+ startups. He has authored more than 50 technology patents, and held faculty positions in Aerospace Engineering at two universities. Tyler is also a proud former engineer for the United Space Alliance, the United States Air Force, NASA Mars Crew Module, and the NASA Space Shuttle Program.
  • Roneil Rumburg
    Co-Founder/CEO, Audius
    Roneil most recently co-founded Kleiner Perkins’ early-stage seed fund. At KP, he was responsible for seed investments into Blockchain and AI companies, including Lightning Labs. Roneil attended Stanford University and previously co-founded a Bitcoin peer to peer payment company called Backslash.
  • Elizabeth Rossiello
    Co-Founder/CEO, BitPesa
    Elizabeth is the CEO and founder of BitPesa, a digital foreign exchange and payment platform for frontier markets. Founded in 2013, BitPesa was the first company to leverage digital currency to significantly lower the cost of making remittance and business payments to and from sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the first blockchain company to be licensed by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. Elizabeth expanded the company from Nairobi, Kenya to operations in 10 markets across Africa and Europe. Before founding BitPesa, Elizabeth was a rating analyst for microfinance institutions across sub-Saharan Africa, consulting for Grameen Foundation, Gates Foundation and the Acumen Fund, as well as working with regulators and policy-makers on legislation for financial innovations. Elizabeth sits on the Investment Committee for Bamboo Capital and is nominated as a Technology Pioneer for the World Economic Forum for 2018. She holds an M.A. in International Business and Finance from Columbia University.

    Illia is the co-founder of NEAR protocol. He has more than 10 years of industry experience, including 3 years at Google where he was a major TensorFlow contributor and a manager of the team building question answering capabilities for the core Google search.
  • Fernando Martinelli
    CEO, Balancer
    Fernando Martinelli is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Balancer, a cryptocurrency that allows users to generate private or shared public liquidity pools while enjoying flexible premium and swap charges. Fernando has worked at several startups, including PrepLounge in 2014, Brasil Mate also in 2014, and then Balancer in January 2019. Before these startups, Fernando worked at Honda Research Institute Europe GmbH in 2010 and Bain & Company.
  • Matthew Liu
    Co-Founder, Origin Protocol
    Matt Liu is the cofounder of Origin Protocol, a protocol for creating sharing economy marketplaces, empowering developers and businesses to build decentralized marketplaces on the blockchain. Prior to Origin, Matt was the 3rd PM at YouTube (acquired by Google) and VP PM at Qwiki (acquired by Yahoo) and Bonobos (acquired by Walmart). He holds an MS in Management Science and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.
  • Rob Leshner
    Co-Founder, Compound
    Robert Leshner is the co-founder of Compound, an open-source interest rate protocol that is built on Ethereum. In 2011, he also co-founded Safe Shepherd, a personal-information opt-out service for consumers. He is Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Evan Kuo
    CEO, Ampleforth
    Evan is the CEO and co-founder of Ampleforth. He is a product-focused engineer with experience developing predictive auction products and working with venture capital. Evan is an avid art and math lover and holds a BS from UC Berkeley, where he studied a mix of ME and Computer Science with a focus on Robotics.

    Sergej Kunz is the Co-founder of 1Inch, a leading DEX aggregator. Sergej started programming at age 14 and has continued to build software since. His professional experience spans 15 years of software engineering, architecture and security. In 2007, he started his first business in telecommunication aggregation and software development, and spent some time at Porsche AG.
  • Stani Kulechov
    Founder/CEO, Aave
    Stani Kulechov is the founder and CEO of Aave and ETHLend. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience developing technology in the crypto, blockchain, and fintech space. Stani is also a mentor to many founders and advisors of ICOs and blockchain projects and has spoken at numerous FinTech, Blockchain and cryptocurrency events, particularly on topics related to Ethereum Smart Contracts.
  • Uri Kolodny
    Co-Founder/CEO, Starkware
    Uri is a co-founder and CEO at StarkWare, and a member of its Board of Directors. Uri is a serial entrepreneur, who has co-founded several technology companies, among them OmniGuide (an MIT spinoff developing optical fibers for endoscopic surgery), and Mondria (developer of tools for visualization of big data). Previously, Uri also served as an EIR with two Israeli VC firms, and as an analyst at McKinsey. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University, and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
